Clockmaker's Deluxe Let Down Key Set, Metric Sizes

Superb quality clock let down key set. Consists of the yellow plastic handle, 8 double ended inserts which will accommodate virtually any clock you might encounter with a metric sized winding arbor. Inserts are 2.25mm/2.50mm; 2.75mm/3.00mm; 3.25mm/3.50mm; 3.75mm/4.00mm; 4,25mm/4.50mm; 4.75mm/5.00mm; 5.25mm/5.50mm; and slotted insert which is used with the original clock key for any size not included, or with alarm clocks with threaded arbors (not shown). These tools are used to gradually let down the power from the springs of a clock before disassembly. It is not safe for the clock or the human to try to disassemble a clock without letting off all the power. With this tool, the power just slips gradually through the user's hand, with no harm. Once all the power is dissipated, the clock can safely be disassembled. This complete set is not sold anywhere else that I know of. Wood blocks to hols the set available separately.
