Beautiful Boston Clock Company Weight Regulator Clock, Cherry Case, Round Top. Similar to a Howard No. 70, but with a longer drop. Retailed by Daniel Pratt & Sons. Painted metal dial in really nice condition, signed by Pratt. Original Moon hands. 8-day brass Time Only weight-driven movement signed Boston Clock Co. The movement has not been serviced, but looks like it's in good shape, and runs fine. The cherry case is in very nice shape too. The top glass is original as far as I know. The lower tablet is a correct replacement done on old wavy glass by Tom Moberg. The thin wood baffle that separated the weight from the pendulum may be original or a replacement. The screws look new, but there are no new screw holes behind the baffle. 35-1/2" x 15-1/2" approximately.
