Blued steel lower door latch and screw catch. These are installed inside the case lower box, and a hole is drilled for the brass projection, which gives sort of a push-button latch release. I have seen these used also on original banjo clocks to unlatch the bezel from the outside. 2 3/8" long, 1/2" wide, Brass button projects 5/8"
